This year’s Fall event recognized and congratulated our many scholarship sponsors and the students holding those scholarships–over 90 students in Fall 2010, and there will be well over 100 by Spring 2011. The luncheon also attracted a good number of our more recent and younger alums and members, showing that participation, “giving back,” and having fun are by no means exclusive. The University’s “Many Dreams, One Mission” campaign was also a major focus, since the heart of the campaign is scholarships, to assure that no deserving student be denied a DePaul education for financial reasons. The close relation between Ledger & Quill, scholarships and the campaign for DePaul produced an event which was, in effect, “Many Dreams, One Mission–live on stage!”
