A recent TaxTalent Survey ranked the highest regarded graduate tax programs in the United States, and DePaul was once again ranked #1 for the top MST program. The survey included over 125 heads of corporate tax departments to determine which graduate programs are held in highest regard when hiring potential tax candidates.
“Number 1 again . . . thanks to our outstanding faculty, past and present,” said MST program director Ron Marcuson upon being send the survey results.
Other top schools included Golden Gate (CA), Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Chicago, and Fordham.
According to TaxTalent president Tony Santiago, the highly targeted survey helps to bridge the gap between academia and the business market.” These survey results empower schools to compete for tax students while helping employers recognize those schools that are preparing the next best generation of tax professionals,” said Santiago.
“Recognition–and repeated recognition–from the profession is always good,” added School of Accountancy Director Kevin Stevens.
