L&Q welcomes three new changes to its Board and Executive Committee: Christina Huizar and Abbey Arndt join the Board, and Tyson May moves from the Board to the Executive Committee.
Huizar, an Audit Senior with Deloitte, is a 2008 graduate, and was active with MAHA–our chapter of the Midwest Association of Hispanic Accountants–serving as a vice president in her senior year. She was a member of the 2006 MAHA team that took the national championship in the KPMG-ALPFA Case Competition, and a three time MAHA team member in the Fred Lang Case Competition (taking first place twice). She currently serves as Business Advisor for our BAP chapter.
Arndt is an Audit Manager with EY, and has been especially busy since her graduation from the Strobel Program in 2007: she went on to receive her Masters in Accounting from Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, then spent two years in EY’s London office. While an undergraduate, Abbey held the Eichenbaum scholarship for four years.
And after a year on the Board, Deloitte partner Tyson May moves to the Executive Committee. A 2000 graduate of the Strobel Program, Tyson was also a Lang competitor from our BAP chapter (and a Lang Competition judge in 2013), is active at DePaul with recruiting for his firm, and has served on the L&Q Scholarship Selection Committee.
